Lighting Supervisor. Attended shoot in order to collect environment lighting information ready for look dev and lighting of the hero worm.
I used my Canon 5DMkII Camera & tripod with Aardman’s Fisheye lens to create multiple exposure 360 degree HDRI’s.

Most of the footage was captured during vacations; some on day trips.
I have a passion for landscape photography and cinematography in my spare time. It was this passion that ultimately made this project so much fun to create.

I have gained so much enjoyment from watching these landscapes lapse in time, and learned so much from taking these images and editing them, that I know my next timelapse reel will only be better :)

Texturing, Shading, Lighting, Rendering and Precomp of 22 shots with a tight deadline of 3 weeks. Lighting & Rendering done with V-Ray.

This project was a huge achievement given the time constraints and technical challenges involved. From a lighting & rendering perspective, the project was made more tricky for me because I only had 40 farm blades to render 3.40 minutes of fully CG animation. This meant that my scenes had to be heavily optimised in order to render over 100,000 frames in time.

I have been meaning to get to Westonbirt National Arboretum for a while now, to capture the beautiful autumnal colours that their vast collection of tree species creates.


It would be great to visit again in the Winter and Spring to get more striking photographs for the portfolio.
