Low light Slider test footage with Technicolor Cinestyle profile.
My main intention for this filming was to experiment with some extra functions within Magic Lantern; the main one being the increased bit rate. I also used the Technicolor Cinestyle picture style in order to test the extra flexibility in grading the final footage. The flat style really helped me push the 8bit video further and still keep details in the highs and lows in post.

There have been a few challenges Ive noticed whilst working with the Konova slider and my Manfrotto 055XPROB sticks. One being the difficulty to eliminate wobble in shots, I suppose this is just practice and making sure your rig is fully stable before filming. Its not as easy as it sounds when mounting such weight on a tripod, especially as the camera weight is always shifting along the slider. The other issue is the camera strap getting caught on the tripod, sure I could just take it off but its not ideal when you want to quickly put it back on again. In short, Im going to look out for some quick release straps and better refine my de-wobble skills 🙂
